Terms of service
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using ServeSlot. By creating an account or using ServeSlot in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use ServeSlot.
1. Who we are
ServeSlot is owned and operated by ServeSlot LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("ServeSlot," "we," "our," or "us"). Our address is 1700 Northside Drive, Suite A7 #5460, Atlanta, GA 30318. Contact us at contact@wessidemedia.com.
2. Who these Terms apply to
These Terms apply to two types of users:
- Coordinators — individuals who create an account to manage events and volunteers. Coordinators must be at least 18 years old.
- Volunteers — individuals who sign up for a slot through a coordinator's event link. Volunteers do not need an account. By submitting a signup form, volunteers agree to these Terms.
3. Account registration
Coordinators must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly at contact@wessidemedia.com if you suspect unauthorized access. ServeSlot accounts are for individual coordinators; sharing login credentials is not permitted except as described in the Org tier (multi-coordinator access).
4. The ServeSlot service
ServeSlot provides a web-based platform that allows coordinators to create and manage volunteer signup events and allows volunteers to sign up for roles and time slots. Features vary by subscription tier. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, with reasonable notice when practical.
5. Subscription plans and billing
Free tier
ServeSlot offers a free tier with limited features (currently: 2 events, up to 50 volunteers per event, email reminders only, single coordinator). No payment information is required for the free tier.
Paid tiers
Paid plans (currently Pro at $9/month or $84/year, and Org at $29/month or $288/year) are billed through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices may change with 30 days' advance notice to active subscribers.
Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel your paid subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to paid features until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.
Beta users
Users who create an account during the designated beta period (ending September 6, 2026) will retain free access to features available at the time of their beta signup for the life of their account, subject to these Terms and any future usage limits we communicate.
6. Coordinator responsibilities
As a coordinator, you represent and warrant that:
- You have the authority to collect volunteer information on behalf of your organization
- You will use ServeSlot only for lawful, non-commercial volunteer coordination purposes
- You will not use ServeSlot to harass, spam, or deceive volunteers
- You will obtain proper consent before sending SMS messages to volunteers (the ServeSlot platform provides opt-in mechanisms for this purpose)
- Volunteer data you collect through ServeSlot will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws
7. SMS messaging
The Pro and higher tiers include the ability to send automated text (SMS) reminders to volunteers who have opted in. By using this feature, you agree to our SMS Terms, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. You must not use ServeSlot's SMS feature to send messages that are off-topic, deceptive, or in violation of applicable telecommunications law (including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, TCPA). ServeSlot reserves the right to suspend SMS access for any account that violates these requirements.
8. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Use ServeSlot for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to ServeSlot's systems, accounts, or data
- Upload or transmit malware, spam, or malicious code
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from ServeSlot
- Resell or sublicense access to ServeSlot without written permission
- Impersonate another person or organization
- Use ServeSlot to organize or solicit participation in illegal activities
9. Intellectual property
ServeSlot and its content (including the software, design, logos, and text) are owned by ServeSlot LLC and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you a right to use ServeSlot's brand, name, or logos. Your data (event details, volunteer lists) remains yours — ServeSlot does not claim ownership of content you create.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVESLOT SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT MESSAGES (INCLUDING SMS REMINDERS) WILL BE DELIVERED.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SERVESLOT LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID TO SERVESLOT IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) $100. IN NO EVENT WILL SERVESLOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ServeSlot LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or costs (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of ServeSlot, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Your continued use of ServeSlot after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use ServeSlot ceases immediately, though Sections 9–13 survive termination.
